In 2016, Guangming found that he had a congenital heart disease and underwent a heart valve surgery. This made him pay more attention to the health sector. He is now the founder and CEO of ffit8, a health food company focusing on high-quality protein and is committed to making young people eat healthier. Guangming is a former nutrition and weight management consultant for the Olympic Games in China, a sports nutritionist at the International bodybuilding professional alliance (IFBB), and a member of the China Nutrition Society. He was awarded the best evidence-based nutrition certification from the Harvard School of Public Health.
